Icon Scaffolding was founded by Chad Vallee who has 27 years of expertise in the field of scaffolding. Chad's family history in scaffolding started with his father Rene and his four uncles. Together they built a successful company that has earned the respect of the industry and has a reputation of some of the best scaffolders by the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Allied Workers.
Chad started his apprenticeship when he was 17 and went on to receive his journeyman ticket from the Alberta carpenter and scaffolding training center, which is some of the most extensive training in western Canada. He has been a journeyman for 25 years now.
Chad has worked every angle of the industry and has a vast knowledge of scaffolding. His strong work ethic has served him well over the years taking him from lead hand journeyman, to head foreman and superintendent on some of the largest industrial sites in western Canada.
